Terms of Use

Last updated: 30th September 2026

These terms are between you and Wee Apps NI Ltd (NI743523), registered at 1 Innisgarry Park, Antrim, BT41 4LA. By using Everything NI you agree to them. If you downloaded Everything NI from the App Store, Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

1. What Everything NI is

Everything NI is a directory. It helps people in Northern Ireland find local businesses, and helps local businesses be found. Customers can post job requests; businesses can reply to them.

We are not a party to anything you arrange through the app. Any work, sale, booking or agreement is between you and the other person directly.

2. Your account

You must be at least 16 to use Everything NI.

You sign in with your email address and a code we send you. Adding a business page also needs a UK mobile number confirmed by text.

You are responsible for what happens on your account. One account per person, and one business page per account. Keep your details accurate - particularly your business address and contact details, which other people rely on.

3. Listed, not endorsed

This is the most important thing in this document.

Businesses on Everything NI are listed, not endorsed. We do not:

Some listings were created from public business information and are marked “Unclaimed” - nobody has confirmed those are accurate, and they cannot be messaged.

Some events and job listings come from other organisations' published listings. Each one names who listed it, and they are responsible for its details - check with them before you travel or apply. We do not organise events or employ anyone.

Checks are yours to make. Before hiring anyone, especially for gas, electrical, or building work, check the relevant register yourself and get the price in writing. The app has safety guidance behind the shield icon on the Requests and Messages screens.

Some businesses have badges. These are earned automatically from behaviour on the app - how recently they posted, how quickly they reply, how many recommendations they have. They are not a judgement about the quality of anybody's work, and they cannot be bought.

“Featured” means paid. A featured business has paid for that placement. It is not a recommendation and it says nothing about how good they are. It is always labelled.

4. Recommendations

Anybody can recommend a business, once each. It is a count and nothing more - there are no star ratings and no written reviews, and there is no way to record a negative opinion.

You may not recommend your own business, ask anybody to recommend a business they have not dealt with, or offer anything in exchange for a recommendation.

5. Paying for work

Never pay for a job through Everything NI. Anybody asking you to is attempting a fraud, and we would like to know about it.

We never handle payment between a customer and a business. If you hire somebody through the app, you pay them directly, however the two of you agree.

The only money we take is a business's plan and any add-ons it buys - a featured week, an extra slot or an Events Pass. That is between the business and us, and it is paid through the App Store on an iPhone or Google Play on Android. Customers never pay anything.

6. Business subscriptions

Business plans (Starter, Standard, Pro) and the Events Pass are monthly subscriptions, paid through the App Store or Google Play. Apple or Google takes the payment when you confirm it, and each subscription renews automatically every month, at the same price, until you turn it off. Prices are shown in the app and include VAT where it applies.

Free introductory months. A business that has not had an offer before can start with a free trial, run by the App Store or Google Play: six months of Standard for businesses that start on or before 31st December 2026, and one month free on any paid plan after that.

Add-ons. Featured weeks and extra slots are one-off purchases, paid through the App Store or Google Play, that do not renew.

Events. Paid plans include event listings on the Events screen (one on Starter and Standard, three on Pro). The Events Pass adds more for a monthly price shown in the app. It needs a paid plan to buy, and it is its own subscription: it bills monthly from the day you buy it, not on your plan's day. If your plan stops, we stop a Google Play Events Pass at the end of its own month. We cannot stop one bought through the App Store - it carries on, and keeps your listings up, until you turn it off in your Apple subscriptions. If the Pass lapses, nothing already listed is taken down; it only limits what you can add.

A plan or Events Pass bought before version 1.6.0 of the app may be billed directly by Wee Apps NI Ltd. It keeps the terms it was bought under, and you can stop it by emailing hello@everythingni.com.

We may change prices, and will tell you before a change affects you.

Refunds

This does not affect your statutory rights.

7. What you may not do

Do not:

8. Moderation

If something on the app breaks these terms we may:

We aim to be proportionate - a warning for a first mistake, not a shutdown. Something dangerous or fraudulent is dealt with immediately.

If your page is switched off, your subscription does not stop by itself. Turn it off in your Apple or Google Play subscriptions, or contact us.

If we switch your page off and you disagree, contact us - we will look at it again.

9. Your content

What you write and photograph stays yours. By putting it on Everything NI you give us permission to display it in the app and to use it in the ordinary running of the service. You confirm you own it or have the right to use it, and that it does not infringe anybody else's rights.

Little is deleted outright. Posts are switched off rather than removed, and a finished advert you delete is hidden rather than destroyed; conversations are hidden rather than destroyed while both accounts exist, and are removed 12 months after either person deletes their account. This protects both sides of a dealing. Deleting your account is covered in the privacy policy.

10. Our responsibility, and its limits

We provide Everything NI as it is. We work hard to keep it accurate and available, but we do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted, or that every listing is correct.

We are not responsible for what happens between you and anybody you find through the app - the standard of their work, whether they turn up, what they charge, or how they behave. That is between you and them.

Nothing here limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law does not allow us to exclude. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.

Otherwise, and to the extent the law allows, our total liability to a business for any claim is limited to what that business has paid us in the twelve months before the claim.

11. Ending it

You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time, from Settings → Delete my account. If your business is on a paid plan with time left, you choose: delete now, and the days left are lost, or delete on the day the plan ends. On an App Store plan that second choice appears once the plan is turned off in your Apple subscriptions.

Deleting your account does not stop Apple billing you. Turn a plan or Events Pass bought through the App Store off in your Apple subscriptions first. A Google Play plan or Events Pass is stopped for you when the account is deleted.

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms. Where it is reasonable to do so, we will tell you why first.

12. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Everything NI after that means you accept the new version.

13. Law

These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and the courts of Northern Ireland have jurisdiction.
